  1. Note down somewhere like on the calender the day, date and time of interview.
  2. Take the address of the place in a chit so that it is easy to ask someone and your original letter is not spoiled.
  3. Decide what you’ll be wearing one day prior. Keep your bag with bio-data and the interview call letter ready.
  4. Get some info on the company like the products they make, their projects, history and more.
  5. Start well before the given time to reach the spot to avoid any last minute tensions.
  6. Once you have reached the destination please inform the concerned person about your arrival.
  7. Visit the washroom and groom yourself again.
  8. Think positive and do not lose confidence.

The first impression is the last impression, says a well known proverb. And your first impact in any interview is your bio-data, resume or CV {curriculum vitae}. Find here some guideline on writing a good resume or CV.

A resume is the mirror of your career journey so far. It is meant to fetch you good number of interview calls. Your resume should be neat, well presented and reader friendly. It should give the reader a clear idea of how you can benefit his organization. Your resume can either be a standard two page format, one page summary format or an online resume wherever needed. The basic information that any resume or CV must contain are personal details, qualifications, skills, prior experience and the key achievements.

Some other features that can enhance your resume, bio-data or CV are :

  • Do not cross the two page format since the bigger the resume the more boring it becomes and is easily rejected.
  • Use a good quality paper and write in a bold, clear and readable writing.
  • Highlight the important points like the key achievements to catch the reader’s attention.
  • Give honest, factual information in the resume. Never lie since you are caught now or later.
  • Leave out the details that are unnecessary or can give a negative impact.
  • Give all your personal info and contact details on the first page itself so that you can be contacted easily.
