Try and convince them why they should pay you more and that you are worth the more money. The recruiter must not feel that he is simply wasting his resources on you. Reply to the point and avoid being rude. Remember that though they offer you low starting salary at the beginning, but as the time will move on your work and output will speak for you and you will get a good increment as well. So merely rejecting a company on the salary basis is not wise enough.
